As part of Sienna’s education, she is completing both gardening and cookery courses. The gardening course is run by The Royal Horticultural Society and Sienna can gain many qualifications during her time at York Campus and beyond.
Sienna has cookery lessons twice a week which will in time use the fruit/vegetables that she has planted. Sienna’s aim is to be able to fund the cost of ingredients for cookery by selling her produce at school events, the last two stalls having proved to be very successful.
There is now a permanent stall in the School Reception, which will provide an outlet for the produce Sienna makes and help raise funds for future projects.
Sienna will also be setting up a competition to name her gardening stall and design an eye-catching logo so keep your eye out for details on how to submit your design!
